As a personal project, I redesigned my local utilities website. From UX improvements to a UI overhaul, this update is intended to provide a quicker, more efficient process to pay bills and a more user friendly experience to find important information.

An improved login view

When logged in you can view pertinent information about your account, like your account number and whether you are enrolled in paperless billing or autopay.

In addition, information about your current bill is right there, from how much is due and when, with quick access to pay or view statements in more detail.

More clarity when paying your bills

When paying your bill, easily choose a previous payment method and quickly make the transaction. A summary adds clarity right before you pay.

A clearer picture of your spending

When a statement is selected, specific information is revealed for that period. Information is displayed concisely and the option to download a full PDF of the statement is available, as well as the ability to pay.

In addition, spending is shown in a graph of the previous 6 months for added clarity.

Practical contact information

The current contact page has an address and nothing else. I’ve designed this update to include the most frequently needed information up top and a Google Maps integration.
